Songs of Farewell recognises the importance of music and song in bringing back memories and giving consolation and hope to the bereaved. Our highly skilled singers, chosen for their special ability to work in what can often be a difficult area, are committed to bringing musical excellence and artistic dignity to this sensitive domain. Once the funeral director or family makes contact, we discuss their ideas on the musical content of a service and liaise with their chosen minister, offering advice and suggestions where needed. We then provide a vocal soloist (and organist when required) to perform specific items and lead the singing as requested. In this way we aim to contribute to the creation of a funeral service that is both spiritual and personal.
